Can Actalin Be Taken With Levothyroxine?

Hi i have hypothyroidism and I m currently on levothyroxin 75 mg, would it be safe to take Actalin. Is there any other more effective medications that could be used to treat hypothyroidism other than levothyroxin. I have been on levothyroxin for approximately three years and my medical conditions be comes worse. I m desperately in need of advice and other alternatives in treating me so i could have a better and healthy lifestyle.

Hi welcome to health care magic....

I can understand your problem....

See I will not recommend you to use actalin that is thyroid supplement.... It is not much useful....

For hypothyroidism the drug levothyroxin is useful....

You only have to do is adjust dose of levothyroxin according to serum TSH level....

Aim is to keep tsh level between 2 to 3. If needed dose can be increased or decreased according to need.
