Bumps On Skin That Look Like Bites. Are They? Why Do They Itch?

i woke up yesterday with a few bumps on my skin, they looked like mosquito bites so i thought thats what they were. i woke up this morning with more bumps and they keep randomly appearing and itch really bad, i thought it might be bed bugs but my fiance has no bumps at all. I will start itching in a spot and then look at it and find another bump. the whole area around it itches too but there is no rash or anything

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

You might be suffering from a condition called as urticaria.

It is an allergic condition.

There must be a particular food or any other item with which you are getting this allergy.

Even a new cloth or change in environment can cause this.

Try to notice it and eliminate it.

Treatment is with anti histamines like cetrizine.

Steroids might be required if it is severe.

This will give you some relief.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

Antihistamines may be used.
oral corticosteroides can also be used
. For acute urticaria, some topical creams, such as hydrocortisone,, can also be prescribed to relieve itching.
