Bump, Shin Got Hit On Large Rock, Bump Increasing In Size. Should I Take An X Ray?

I fell earlier today and hit my shin on a large rock. A large bump immediately appeared. I put ice on it on and off for a couple of hours. It was feeling better. I went into town to run a few errands, after being on my feet for just a short time the bump was bigger than ever and it started to hurt when I walked. Should I get an x-ray?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello Friend
Welcome to H.C.M
With little information and as per the history you have given and the clinical findings may be possible that you have fractured the shin. There is no harm done in taking the X Ray. and start some analgesics.
But still I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer.
With best wishes for a speedy cure
Yours sincerely
