MY SON 4.5 YRS, HAS ENLARGED ADENOIDS AND TONSILS CAUSING HIM TO BREATHE WITH MOUTH AND AT MANY TIMES SNORES AT NIGHT ALSO GETS BREATHLESS FOR FEW SECONDS IN SLEEP. HE GETS SEVERE EPISODES OF COUGH AND VOMITS ENTIRELY DURING THIS EPISODE. Yes surgery is the best treatment for adenoids. low platelet count is also not good. bleeding will occur. surgery will be done only when platelet count is normal.
