Blood In Stools, Nausea, Headaches. On Champix, Stopped Taking Tablet Thinking Side Effect. But Still Symptoms Continuing

I have been taking champix, I noticed bright red blood in my stools starting last week, on the tissue, in the bowl and in my stools. I have been taking champix for 6 weeks with nausea and headaches as side effects. I stopped the tablets last week as it was in my leaflet as a side effect but it is still happening. Should I be worried?

Hi and welcome to HCM!
This is a common side efect and the constipation and bleeding should stop within two weeks after stoping the pill.
If the bleeding continue after 2 weeks you should contact a gastroenterologist for futher examinations.
