Blood Between Eye Ball And Covering Of Eye, BP Fluctuating. Have Glaucoma. Am I In Danger Of Having Stroke?

My right eye filled with blood between the eye ball and covering of the eye. The bleeding was so bad my eye was filling quickly with blood and protruding "sacs of blood were pooling. My blood pressure was taken and it was 180/120 and I was immediately send from my eye doctor to my internist because of the blood pressure reading. What caused this and was I at risk of having a stroke? I do have glaucoma and the pressure at the time was 14 in the affected eye. I am on Liscinopril 10mg daily and my internist increased the dosage to 20mg per day. My blood pressure is continuing to fluctuate. What caused the bleeding and increase in blood pressure and what is my next step in resolving this? Am I in danger of having a stroke?

hello,
as you have severe high blood pressure you might have hypertensive retionpathy with neovascularization as well that causes vitreous hemorrhage or you might develop central retinal vein occlusion.
high bp is most common cauastive factor for transient ischaemic attack i.e. stroke
you should properly take medicine advised by your physician for bp
for eye take complete rest and sleep with 3 pillows behind your neck so blood settles early for 10 days and then visit retina specialist
take care
