Bleeding in the brain after an accident. Headaches, pressure in the head, nose bleeds. Need to be worried?
my boyfriend was in a car accident about 5 months ago, he had severe head trauma, minor bleeding in the brain, and he followed up with a neurologist and they said he was doing better, recently he has been getting terrible headaches , he says it feels like the pressure is just building up and that they were getting worse. the last few days they have been making him get nosebleeds. the pressure builds up to the point where he can barely take it and then his nose bleeds and the pressure is gone. im concerned because he doesnt always get the help he needs medically and may just say hes fine. is this something serious or something i should worry about?
hi thanks for your query
this is not a normal after history of head injury
you should consult to neurophysician and get ct scan head for rule out any significant intra cranial blood collection.
