Black Marks After Waxing Upper Lips. How To Get Rid Of Them?

Hello!! I am an Indian female currently residing in Germany for my masters course. Four days back i have used ready made waxing strips to remove hair from my upper lips .while doing so my skin got peeled and it was red. As now it is healing i could see the black marks . Kindly suggest what i should do to avoid the black marks.Thanking you. Regards, Priyanka

Hi Priyanka,
Thanks for writing to us.
If the lesion has still not healed, use a steroid antibiotic crream for few days. Once it heals completely apply a hydroquinone, tretinoin, steroid based combination cream in night and a kojic acid vitamin c based cream in morning. With in couple of weeks, your lesions would resolve completely.
