Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Is he passing soft stools or hard stools?

If he is passing stools hard and with difficulty, then he needs prescribed medication for his constipation.

Check for appropriate dilution of his top feeds.

Exclusive breastfeeding is the best method of feeding and hard stools are not seen with breastfeeds.

For colic pain you can give Decolic drops after examination and prescription by your pediatrician.

Consult pediatrician for further management.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
