Bad Cough, Allergy. Taken Nasonex, Steroid And Allergy Immunization. Will It Have Adverse Effects?

Hi my daughter is 5.5 years old and gets a barking cough very often. it lasts for weeks sometimes. i consulted a allergy doctor and he has suggested levolin inhaler-2 puffs 3 times a day,combitide 125-2 pufs-2 times a day, nasonex nasala spray-2 times a day, and montex kid - 1 tab in night every day. i found out now that combitide is a steroid. this doctor has adviced to keep her under the same medication for 9 months and he is also planing to give a allergy immunization medicine(she is allergic to dust mite,ants and few other eatables). I am afraid to give her this steroid for so long i feel it might have a adverse effect.. pls suggest and also wanted to know if homeopathy would be better in her case..

Since your child is 5.5 years old , so she can take medicine easily and this will help in her disease .
As first thing as you stated that she have allergy with, dust, mite ants & other eatables , so don't worry.
This is asthmatic allergic bronchitis , if untreated turn into asthma.
Your daughter is very little so don't worry.
When she will attain 13- 14 years ,she will get complete relief approximately due to secretion of secondary sex hormones as I have seen in so many patients from the last 34 years.
Avoidance of mite, dust, pollen , hay , fumes, smokes, fine dusting powder , sudden rise & fall of temperature will help.
Strong coffee & steam inhalation also helps.
In such type of cases i prescribe Monteleukast+ bambuterol tablets according to weight of patient and only 1/2 tablets provide instant relief without any side effects.
I don't know much about homeopathy.
I don't like steroid in such patients.
