Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Amoebriz?

Hi, this is the question: I am about to take 2 tablets of Amoebriz. What do I have to expect after taking it. It's 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening. What about bowel movements? May age: 62, male, 175 cm, 90 kg. Bowel problems. 3 month ago lab test - found amoebas. Did get the time to take the tablets then. Want to do it now. Having problems with diareeha for 10 days. Not severe, neither hurting.

Hi,

I understand your concern.

You say to have been diagnosed with amoebas in your stool.
Amoebriz is an antiparasitic medication containing mebendazole and quinfamide. It has also intraluminal amebicid effect, for which it has been diagnosed for amoebiasis.

Diarrhea will get improved by the end of the day. Nothing worrisome will happen. Might have light abdominal cramps as the parasites will be cleared out your guts.

It could be great if you increase fluids intake, and take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora.

Wish fast recovery.
