Are The Medical Conditions Of Arthritis, BP And Bleeding Hemorrhoid The Cause For Pigmentation?
Hi, my mother is 60 years old.She is suffering from diabetes from last 10 years and high BP,arthritis,bleeding hemorrhoid and varicose veins for nearly 25 years.She is on regular medication for her conditions. She was very fair when she was young. But after 40 years of age her complexion started getting darker and now she is around 5 to 6 shades darker than her original complexion. Why is this happening? Is this because of her medical conditions? If yes, what treatment is available for this? Please inform..

As you said you mother is suffering from diabetis and now she has darkning of skin. This type of darkning is known as acanthosis nigricance which occure in dibetic patient. There isnt any effective treatment for that but still some investigation is needed so i would suggest to consult you doctore about that.
