As per my clinical experience, the pain in neck with cough and dizziness indicates presentation of secondary effects of primary respiratory insult. The neck pain may be related to pulling of neck muscles during cough episodes, lymph node enlargement secondary to bacterial or viral infection of respiratory tract. The dizziness is also pertaining to poor oral intake, effect of cytokines via inflammatory response or else.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
