Are Pain And Swelling In Knee After Twisting While Being Due For Surgery Normal?
I have a bad right knee, bone on bone. I am awaiting surgery. Recently I jarred my knee and twisted it and there was immediate pain on the outside of my knee. Then the pain got worse, swelling and almost loss of any movement. Was I more susceptible to injury because of the condition of my knee? Up until the inury I was functioning alright at work.

As ur due gor surgery I ll suggest u to go for an orthopedic consultation or a MRI ...so that can confirm the diagnosis.
If its a ligament injury than the course of suergeey will be changed.
