Are Nausea, Tiredness And Headache Symptoms Of Nexplanon Withdrawal?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the after effects of nexplanon. I had it removed June 11th 2018. My husband and I have been pretty sexually active. More so than when I was on the nexplanon. I have not had a period yet, and have been taking ovulation tests. Nothing. I also took a couple pregnancy tests and nothing. I am feeling nauseous, tired cranky and have pretty bad headaches almost everyday. I take vyvanse for binge eating and Victoza. So I don t know if any of those could be a contributing factor. Are these typical symptoms after nexplanon removal?

Hello,

After Nexplanon is removed, you can have nausea, weight loss, headaches, etc. These are temporary symptoms and usually subside in 1-2 weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Rakhi Tayal, OBGYN
