I have been feeling weird in my face and throat for about a week. A numbing pain in both areas that seems to be transient. I went to my ENT yesterday, he put a scope down my nose and saw a fungal growth at the back of my tongue. He thought that could be the cause of my symptoms. He prescribed Fluconazole, and then told me to clean my cpap machine with hot water and vinegar BC that could be the root of the infection. I took the pill at 6 pm and cleaned the machine. I felt the same and then when I went to sleep and used my machine last night I immediately felt nauseous. I have felt that way ever since. I ve barely been able to sleep or eat (ate some toast and bananas with water). I still feel nauseated and now I don t know what the cause is the pills or the vinegar smell. I replaced all my cpap tubing and was able to sleep for a few hours, but should I continue taking the pills?
