Are Muscle Cramps Normal After An Arm Fracture?

HI. I SUFFERED A FRACTURE TO THE HUMERUS IN MY LEFT ARM AS A RESULT OF A FALL. THIS OCCURRED WEDNESDAY NIGHT. I AM WERAING A SLING AS PRESCRIBED BY MY MD. EARLIER THIS EVENING A HAD A VERY STRONG AND PAINFUL MUSCEL CRAMP IN THAT UPPER AREA OF MY ARM. IT HAS SINCE SUBSIDED, BUT THE MUSCEL IS STILL TIGHT AND FEELS AS IF IT WILL CRAMP UP AGAIN. IS THIS NORMAL ?
