Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My doctor left a voice message saying a recent routine checkup showed I have a low-normal platelet count and he wants to run the test again. I don t know what that means, and I won t be able to ask him until after the holiday. I m 70 and otherwise storng and healthy, but for the past couple of months I ve been getting more easily fatigued than normal. Should a low-normal platelet count concern me? Thanks!
hi, i would like to say that if you have a low platelet count it might be related to some blood disorder try to get a blood workup done soon,so there wont be ay confusion and if any disorders are noticed they can be treated to the earliest.
