Are Itchy Skin Rashes A Side Effect Of Prednisone Drug?
My doctor perscribed me presnidone and it was going great but as soon as I stopped taking it my skiin has broke out in a horrible rash thAts all over. I am concerned its itchy and my skin is getting worse and worse every day. Its like my kin is gettin eaten away.

Skin rash is a symptom of sudden prednisolone withdrawal when it has been used for more than 3 weeks in a dosage of more than 7.5 mg/day.
Restart Hydrocortisone for 2-3 days, then change it to prednisolone with gradual tapering i.e starting from 0.5-1mg/kg /day, taper it at 5-10mg/week until nil.
