General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the history of total thyroidectomy and symptoms of irritability, anxiety, tiredness, itchy skin, swollen tongue do favor possible hypothyroid state. The weight alteration is a major criteria not mentioned here to correlate. It is strongly recommended to get a latest report of serum free T3, free T4 and Thyroid stimulating hormone levels for proper clinical correlation and guidelines accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
