Are Intermittent Fever, Chronic Cough And Wheezing Suggestive Of Pneumonia?

Yes for a week I have been having on and off temperatures non stop coughing non stop coughing night and day lot of wheezing can t get mucus up out of lungs mucus is yellow in Fleming and sometimes dark urine is dark too what do you think is the diagnosis is it pneumonia or walking pneumonia? Thank you.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of intermittent fever, chronic cough and wheezing which could be due to bacterial/ viral infection and due to underlying medical condition such as lung infection/ pneumonia. It could be due to poor immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take combination of Ibuprofen and Tylenol as it is safe combination and you can take that for your present condition. Take diet rich in multivitamins, fruits and take multivitamin tablet as well to boost body immunity. Drink plenty of water to rehydrate yourself. Do warm saline gargles. You should take diet rich in fibres to prevent constipation. Take antiemetic medication to prevent fluid loss. If fever is of high grade at times so you should do tepid sponging as well.
