Are Burning And Stinging Sensations After Recovering From Shingles Normal?

Hi,I ve had shingles for 4 weeks ,from the first day Dr has giving me Acyclovior 800 mg 5 times a day , and Gabapentin 100 mg 3 times a day . It s healed ,but the burning and stinging is most unbelievable. Is there anything I can do ? A d is this normal?

Hi. I have gone through your query.Burning & stinging sensations are a common features of Shingles.I would suggest Tab Pregabalin 75mg-Methylcobalamin 1500mg once a day for 10 days or an Inj Methycobalamin on alt days x 6 injs.If rash is present you can apply Calamine Lotion.
