i was taking aldara for almost two week when my scrotum became irritated and turned blue/purple. I stopped immediately (a week ago). I went to urgent care yesterday and they gave be predisone 20mg qd x4days and bactrim 1 bid x 7days. My scrotum has returned to a pink color but some of the skin is peeling off and it is very sensitive while walking sitting and very painful while showering. I have been gentle and also keeping it dry by applying mediated powder (with menthol) 3-4 times daily. Is there anything i can do to prevent the irritation and pain such as prescription meds to cover scrotum or gauze around scrotum?
