Are Neurontin And Norco The Right Medication For Foot Pain?

I have had pain and overactive nerves in my feet for 9 years. I have been given every test and seen every neurologist in my area as well as UCSF. I am taking neurontin and Norco for pain. The main problem is pulsating and buzzing nerves. The pain is secondary but can vary from stabbing, soreness throughout my feet or burning. Much of hte pain is at the very end of my toes or fingers. Noone can help me.

Neurontin is composed of 'Gabapentin', which is a medication used to treat neuropathic pain.

Norco is composed of 'Hydrocodone Bitartrate and Acetaminophen', is indicated for the relief of moderate to moderately severe pain.

So what medications you are taking seems to be right for the condition you are suffering from. However, intake of such medications are known to cause certain side effects.

It would be better for you to consider consulting Orthopedician for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
