Any Suggestion For "Prediastolic Notch Seen In Left Uterine Artery" In Ultrasound?

Hi, I'm 13 weeks pregnant, in my ultrasound, everything is normal but one thing is there that Prediastolic notch is seen in left uterine artery. Is there any need to worry about this for my baby, as ill be travelling much in this month, waiting for ur answer.

Hi This report at this gestation of pregnancy does not worry me. You need not worry too. But it has importance if there is persistence of this notch after 22 weeks also, then likely to develop pre eclampsia. So, be watchful right from now. Don't take extra salt and fat and keep a watch on your wt. gain . Rest in left lateral position. Don't travel and exert too much. Keep a follow up with scan. Thanks.
