Any Suggestion For Conceiving When Follicle Is Growing Properly And Ruptured?

hi, I m in TTC for 8 months...also I had a abortion in 2011. i m 31+...now I m doing follicular study for 3 months,it is showing my follicle is growing properly and ruptured...but we did t conceive...can u tell me why? is there any major problem? we did hsg...my both tubes are fine.

Hi,

According to your description, female parameters are appearing almost normal, as:

-Development and rupture of follicles indicating that ovarian function and reserve are normal.

-Hysterosalpingogram is showing that Fallopian tubes are normal. The factors to be considered in your case are:

-As you had an abortion once, better to rule out any structural abnormalities of the uterus like septate uterus.

-You didn't mention regarding the seminal parameters of your husband. Usually among the couples with unexplained infertility around 80% are having the cause called high sperm DNA damage.

So, please discuss these things with your doctor and plan accordingly. Sperm DNA fragmentation test can help in detecting any DNA damage.

There should not be a problem in conceiving in this condition but ovulation induction drugs may be required for this condition.
