Allowed Only 4 Pumps Of Fortesta Per Day. Will This Harm Future Life ?

My urologistr\ will allow me only 4 pumps of fortesta/day, even tho the package insert says 7/day is all right
Even tho this brings my T levels to "normal" range (a little over 400)This dose does NOTHING for libido, etc and my marriage is getting into trouble because of this.
If this is what any doctor will do, then there's no sense is continuimng to pay for this medication: Imight as well get it on the internet (more expensive of course but at least I'll get the dosage i need)
Any ideas??

Hi,

If you are having a low libido in spite of having adequate serum testosterone levels, then I do not feel hiking up the testosterone dose will help. Libido depends on many factors, including hormones/chemicals other than testosterone, social and psychological factors. So it is possible that some other factor may be causing the low libido. Increasing your dose of Fortesta may increase the serum testosterone levels to a higher than normal range, which can cause many problems including an increased risk of cancer. Please discuss your problem in detail with your doctor and ask for his opinion on the cause for low libido in spite of normal serum testosterone levels.
