i have completed 35th day but still the period has started I have done the pregnency check on 31st day but it was negative what to do i have completed 35th day but still the period has not started, I have done the pregnency check on 31st day at home by prgakit but it was negative what to do ? After how many days from intercourse a lady should know that she is pregnent or not ?

Hello,
The normal menstrual cycle lasts between 21 and 35 days. In pregnancy, hCG is secreted. This enters your blood as early as one week following fertilisation. You can do home urine for pregnancy test after 1 week-10 days of your due periods date. Confirmation of pregnancy is done by ultrasonography or serum beta HCG.

Good afternoon.

You have completed 35th day of amenorrhoea with pregnancy test negative on 31st.
Basically home pregnancy test is done immediately after missed period or after 7 days from missed to get good result.
You should have to repeat the test with pregakit along with a blood test for confirmation of pregnancy.
Missed or delayed period has several reasons other than pregnancy like emotional upset, stress, thyroid problem, PCOD, anorexia......so need to investigate properly.

Consult with your gynaecologist if period delaying more than 2 months with exclusion of pregnancy.
