Abdominal Pain Radiating Upwards. What Is It?

I have had a sharp pain in my lower right abdominal area for about a month. It comes and goes, but recently once it comes on, it seems to stay. A few times it has radiated upward in my abdomen . The pain is sharp, sometimes throbbing, but not disabling, enough to make me take notice and wonder what it is and why it doesn t go away. I don t seem to have any other symptoms.
