9 Year Old With Speech Delay. Not Able To Concentrate In The School Work. Any Suggestions?
My son who is 9 years old was diagnosed with a severe speech delay and a development delay. He is attending school and improving with speech theraphy. However I find it hard to get him to sit down and do extra school work - please let me know if there are ways to get him more interested in his writing and reading work? Thanks

The speech delay which you mentioned seems to improve with time with your speech therapy but it seems he has ADHD comorbidity which needs to be intervened. I suggest to see clinical pediatric psychiatrist and to start on stimulants and control his behavior.
