7.5 Year Old. Upper Thigh Hurt, Had Big Hard Lump. Should I Be Worried?

Hi my 7.5 year old daughter last night started complaining that her upper thigh hurt. I noticed that she had a big hard lump there about an inch and a half in diameter ! No discoloration .... Hurts when you put pressure on it no other symptom. I thought maybe a bug bite? I asked her if she s had an accident since it was right after picking her up from kids club, she said no ? Is this something I should be worried about?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Is there any history of fever or any wound or pustule on the leg. If those are there it could be an enlarged lymphnode which is causing pain on touch. Consult your Pediatrician to examinne the lump and for proper diagnosis and treatment.
