20 Years Old. Having Vaginal Bleeding Often. What Is Wrong?

yes, my granddaughter has been bleeding form her private area since age 14 and she is now now 20. She has numerous test and has had several doctors that can't explain her condition. The bleeding is not everyday but it does happen three or more days per week. She weights about 110 lb now prior to weighting 132lb before this condition started. I don't think this is normal and very concern that whatever this problem is could turn fatal.
Please advise or offerer in any suggestions. Thanks

Hello ma'am and welcome.

First of all, it will be necessary to check on her ironand hemoglobin levels, as she could be anemic due to the bleeding, if so, please request a doctor for adequate correction.

Next, this seems to be any one of the following problems: a problem with the uterus (eg. Polyps, fibroid, etc), an abnormality of the inner lining of the uterus (eg. Endometriosis, adenomyosis, etc.), a hormonal imbalance. Please speak to her doctor about considering all these conditions and ruling them out to find the cause.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
