2 Year Old, Green Mucus Filled Stools, No Stomach Pain, Loose Bowel Movements. Cure For Condition?
my 2 year old has stringy, green, mucuosy stool . it is not very loose nor is it solid...it s more of an oatmeal consistency. he isn t complaining of stomach pains though this problem just begun. or is it even a problem? it woke him up in the middle of the night. he kind of had a poo poo accident in his underwear. this has never happened before.

Hello
Green, mucoid stool suggests intestinal infection.Give him Ofloxacin and Ornidazole comb. Syp. 7.5 ml twice a day for 5 days. The bowel will get normal within few days. Continue feeding and give plenty of water.
