13 Year Old On Seretide Accuhaler And Prednisone. Pain In The Back, Bruises On The Spine. Reason?

Hi doctor. My 13yr old daughter is on medication. Omez 40mg. Seretide accuhaler 50/250mg. Prednisone 60mg reduced gradually to 5mg. Nasonex. Singulair. The past week she has been complaining of pain on the right side of her back. Last night along her spine found 2 bruises. 1 on her lower back and 1 btwn her shoulder blades. No pain to touch on the bruises. What could be the reason?

Pain on the right side of the back could be because of several reasons. Where exactly in the back is this pain located. Is it in the middle or in the lower part?



Bruises could be because of several reasons. How long is she taking that steroid? Is there any history of fall or trauma? Is there any nose bleed or tarry stool? Is there any history of fever?

A physical examination and further investigations are required to arrive at a diagnosis. I request you to consult your doctor for the same
