Brief Answer:
Possible dry skin or slight allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up question and the extra information.

What you are describing seems like something related with dry skin and maybe a slight allergic reaction.
I would recommend to do what you can to avoid dry skin- drink plenty of water, apply a good body moistruiser and avoid hot and frequent showers.

Also, check if the detergent you are using to wash the bed sheets it is irritating your skin. Maybe you are using a new one the last times, or maybe you are using a new softener. Try to switch to a neutral detergent and avoid softeners, because they have a lot of parfume which is the reason the skin gets irritatated.

If the itchiness bothers you a lot you can take an antihistamine medicine before sleeping, keeping in mind that may cause you sleepiness during the following day. Cetirizine 10mg is a good option.

I hope this is helpful and answers your question.
Feel free to ask if you have other questions or concerns.

Kind regards,
Dr. Papaqako, General and family physician.
