Detailed Answer:
Hi...
Welcome to the "Ask a Doctor" service.
I am Dr. Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.

Dandruff is caused by dryness, excess flaking and fungal infection of the scalp.

These are a few measures that you can take to manage dandruff...

Keep your hair clean.
Do coconut oil massage.
Shampoo often.
Avoid excess exposure of hair to the sun.
Have multivitamin and omega 3 supplements.
Have probiotics.
Have a high protein nourishing diet including plenty of vegetables and fruits.
Apply a hair mask of yogurt and egg white.
Apply vinegar.

Crush 2 tablets of aspirin and mix it well within the fistful of shampoo. Apply it on the scalp and wait for a few minutes before washing. Salicylate in aspirin is a good exfoliating agent.

There are commercially available shampoo preparations of Selenium Sulphide and antifungal Ketoconazole. They should be used regularly.

Hope that answers your query.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards
