Meanwhile you can take tab cetirizine 5 mg upto 2 times a day for runny nose. You can also take Tab Paracetamol 500 mg upto 4 times a day for fever. These medicines are to be taken whenever symptoms are there. Cough is considered a defense against passing bacteria into lungs. So its not a good idea to suppress cough unless it is bad.
