Brief Answer:
Yes.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

First thing I want to tell you is that the website you are following is not accompanied by any doctor, so don't go by such websites.

Exercise is not the best treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, its only the way the you can stretch your muscles and nerves.

If I was your treating doctor, then I only advise you to do prayer stretch exercise and that too with painkillers like Tab. aceclofenac 100mg + serratiopeptidase 15 mg three times a day for 7 days.

Use carpal tunnel brace while working.

If pain and numbness are more and not relieved by above mentioned, then surgery is needed.

So, you should not depend only on exercise.

Today, surgery can be done arthroscopically I.e very small scar is present and pateint is discharged on that day.

I hope you have got your answer.

Thanks,

Dr. CHANDER XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
