Question: I have this ache under my left and right rib cage with a mild burning sensation. This burning pain comes and goes as well as the Aches. I dont know why my Dr has not tested me for H Polori. I have had CBC Blood work done over 7 times in the past 3 weeks. I had an Ultra sound for the Abdominal area for Gallbladder, Kidney, and Pancreas, all okay. I was given PPI for Acid reflux as I had that Bad it came with the Sudden (Actue) Burning that happened on XXXXXXX 26th. Its not July 19th and I still have Dull Aches under rib cage with burning sensation upon eating stuff afterwards. Its only After I eat I get this feeling and usually in morning its not that bad till I eat or drink then it gets worse throughout the day. Please Advise! I have a referral to GI Dr for an Endoscopy, which can take up to 6 months I was told! Why! I have told my DR all my symptoms. Even my throat was closing up on me and was very sore to eat or drink anything as it was burning until recently when it settled all by itself! Please tell me what is going on and what steps to take I cannot take Pills I am hypersensitive to Medication.

Brief Answer:
GERD

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Mam your problem is basically due to gastroesophageal reflux disease GERD. It happens due to reflux as you told sore throat and all the history do correlate with this. You might have h pylori infection also which can only be found out through endoscopy. But for now you can try home control of reflux along with gastric tablets like esomeprazole or rabeprazole are better tablets.

Home remedies to avoid gastritis and reflux is stop eating spicy foods and oily items. Also taking pickle or papads add on the gastritis. Don't take milk products as some are allergic to it. Kindly eat dinner before 8pm and two hours you shouldn't eat before sleep. Sleep with head raise little bit in order to avoid reflux. Eat fruits and juice. Drink lot lot of water. I hope all this will help you control gastritis. Feel free to ask any questions if you have any doubts.

I hope this info helps you sort out your problems and if you feel its helpful kindly give me user thank vote happy health.
