Question: Hi had a white lump on the roof of my mouth which grew overnight. It's not hurting or itching. I also am having penis foreskin itching for the past one the lump and the itching of the foreskin is gone but the foreskin is dry and flaky and hurts if i try to have intercourse. There is no unusual discharge and no other problem with function.I am also unable to pull the foreskin back without suffering substantial discomfort. Dont know if its related but my lips are also dry and flaky and sometimes bleeds at certain points.

Thanks for your query.
Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have infection in mouth and foreskin termed as Posthatitis. Will you kindly provide me few more details to help me to come to a conclusion.
1) Are you married.?
2) Are you diabetic ?
3)Do you have unprotected or abnormal sex(Oral Sex) ?
4) Have you been tested for STDs ?
From the limited information that you have stated, you have Posthatitis with Phimosis.
Take some antibiotics like Doxycycline and topical gel for application over lips available over the counter. You will need a prescription for the doxycycline.
Please consult a qualified Urologist for clinical examination and diagnosis. You may need to get circumcised .
Let me know if you have any more questions. I shall be happy to help you
Thanks with Regards.

1.Yes I am married I am not diabetic
3.i do not have unsafe sex and I practise monogamy religiously
4.i have had a full medical test in my office a month back which came out normal.i don't know if they had tested for STD's.

The same symptoms on the penis had appeared about a year ago and went away on its own.i had recently quit smoking too. And I smoked some marijuana at a party a couple days before the symptoms started.would that have anything to do with the symptoms?

Thanks for the follow up.

With the given details, it seems to be Posthititis with Phimosis. Take antibiotic which I have mentioned earlier after consulting a Qualified Urologist. He may decide about circumcision after a proper evaluation.

Cracking of the lips may be due to Marijuana. It should subside in a week after application of a topical gel such as vaseline.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks with Regards.

Would really help if you could tell me the dosage for the antibiotic.Thank You.

Antibiotics are prescription-based drugs. Therefore, it is not ethical and legal to prescribe the dosage without a clinical examination. A nearby local doctor can prescribe the medications to you.

Thanks and Regards

I am circumcised, my penis started itching a lot the last two months. I scratched it a lot and it became swollen and red. A couple of days later, it became very dry and the skin was sort of peeling off. So I peeled the skin and in some rare cases I cut myself. But it's cool. I tried anti-fungal cream and it didn't work, also tried baby powder, did not work. 1 month later i go to visit a dermatologist. He said I have an allergy and prescribed Eodine 2% to put morning and night and 1 pill of AERIUS. Took the treatment for a week and did not work. Last week I decided to do the treatment again, also failed. My penis is scratching now with a sticky fluid on it below the head on the left side of the skin (If I'm looking down.) I am sexually active, but during the second treatment I didn't have intercourse. So, What the hell is up? - Thanks.

I am a 21 year old. I have been suffering with wrinkles and rashes on glans for the past 1and a half year. I saw a physician who tested my sugar levels ( which came out to be normal). He then said that this might be due some allergy and recommended flutibact gel which i applied for about 3 months and allegra 120 which i had for about 2 months. Around 1 year back, this turned into a skin infection and the physician recommended Candid- b cream. I applied that for about 3 weeks and the infection was gone completely. But the wrinkles (Or rashes)are still there.earlier the rashes were confined to the bottom of the glans Only but now they cover the whole of the glans. I have never any pain, itching or any sort of uncomfortable feeling while urinating or otherwise. Currently the whole of the skin on the glans is loose and the only problem I face is while removing the foreskin which kind of gets stuck on the loose skin but still there is no pain. Please advise

This past summer I had a white patch of skin under the top part of my penis tip. It was milky in color and looked like dry skin. It did not hurt at all. A week later I had the urge to urinate and a slight tingling after I urinated. I went to the clinic and the doctor told me that I had a large amount of protein in my system which had most likely caused an infection. She told me the white patch looked like a friction rub. I had been masturbating a lot.
I met a girl in September and we are still together now. We had unprotected sex in October in November the symptom came back there was a tiny bump on the shaft of my penis with no pain and it again bothered me when I urinated. I went to the Dr. to get a full blood work. Everything came back negative except for Herpes 1.
Its now Feb and I see another pimple like bump on my circumcision line. It does not hurt but looks very pale. It is close to where the first abrasion was located (this are is now darker). I have been paranoid and been putting ointments and rubbing alcohol on my penis to get rid of any germs. Again the bumps never hurt, never flake or fill up with puss like a typical cold sore that I've had years ago on my lip.
Could this been a skin issue due to my girlfriends vaginal fluid (she just went on the pill), hygiene ( i work out 5 days a week), or an STD that hasnt shown up. I have also never seen any discharge from my penis. It takes several weeks for it to go away and normally there is just one.

Hi there Dr. Kakkar, I have asked you a question before about pumps on my penis. I went to see a local doctor and he confirmed your diagnosis and prescribed a cream which took care of the bumps within 10 days. Thanks you very much for that....
