When Should Growth Hormone Supplementation Be Taken?
Question: I want to know about the problems relating to HGH secretion from an endocrionologist.
MY QUESTION:
my father is 6feet,my brother 3 years younger to me is 6.1feet,and every male in my family including my grandfather are approximately 6feet tall
I m 19 yrs and my height is only 5.5feet i m worried about this problem,and i have done a lot of research on this topic and would like some really professional and good advice. And my mom also 5.8feet.
y m the only one short. M quite ashamed of it in my family.and pls tell me how to increase hgh secretion and how to stimulate it.
i know that u might tell me that if my growth plates are fused i cant grow my legs,but if u check the condition of gigantism the person still grows vertically after the fusion of bones because of high secretion of HGH,and this kind of proves if HGH is increased "naturally" by stimulating the pitutary gland, our body will grow in vertical height as it increases muscle mass and bone mass.
and i had a huge growth spurt when i was 14, i grew from 5 to 5.5 feet,a increase of five inches,i was the tallest among my cllass,really tall,but since then i did not grow.
and i would like to know some names of good medicines providing the nutrients:
1)THIAMINE vitamin B1
2)NIACIN vitamin B3
3)vitamin B12

Dear XXXX, I understand your pain and problem too. dear friend, there is a difference between gigantism and acromegaly. excess growth hormone in children , when bone ends are pie results in gigantism. excess growth hormone in adults , after fused bones , result in acromegaly. ie broad coarse facies. and both are pathological. now for you, first find out your bone age. then find out whether you have GHD? growth hormone supplementation works only when it is deficient naturally.
also remember you may be short in the family but you can achieve great heights in life. more than anyone you know.
multivitamin brands like benalgis, recovit NP, Matilda forte contain these nutrients as you have mentioned. regards!
