Question: very bad problem with psoriasis.what type of shampoo could I used on must scalp. my scalp has sores on them n my beautician say that it a very bad. case of psoriasis . so what could I use to have a normal scalp

Thanks for writing in.

Scalp psoriasis can be controlled with medicated shampoos and lotions.

The best bet is to use a Tar Shampoo alternating with a mild corticosteroid shampoo.

These are available only on a doctor's prescription.

You may also use calciptriol lotion in addition to the aforementioned shampoos.
This will help calm down your scalp skin.

You will see an improvement as early as 2 weeks.
