What Is The Normal Fetal Weight Around 19 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Question: Thank you, in advance, for your advice. I was wondering if you would be able to advise me on what is a healthy/normal weight for a fetus at week 19. We are pregnant with twins via international surrogacy, and the ultrasound showed "Fetus A" with an estimated fetal body weight of 294 grams (BDF=44 mm=19 weeks 3 days, HC=162 mm=19 weeks, AC=144 mm=19 weeks 5 days, FL=30 mm=19 weeks 2 days) while "Fetus B" has an estimated fetal body weight of 196 grams (BDF=45 mm=19 weeks 5 days, HC=165 mm=19 weeks 2 day, AC=144mm=19 weeks 5 days, FL=29 mm=19 weeks 2 days). My husband and I are very concerned from what we've researched online regarding "Fetus B's" growth.

Brief Answer:
Normal growth

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Usual weight of fetus around 20 weeks varies from 300-500 grams.
But since you are carrying twins the average weight is usually a little low as nature tries to compensate for the limited intrauterine space.
As long as the growth parameters (HC, AC, BPD etc) corelate with 19 weeks there is nothing to worry.
Take a note of the following points -
- have a good rest with no exertion at all
- avoid intercourse
- take ample amount of water
- take good amount of milk and green leafy vegetables
- almonds and walnuts are very good and should be taken on daily basis
- avoid any kind of stress
- keep taking all the medicines as prescribed daily without a miss.
Also go for regular antenatal check ups.
All the best
