The cornea is the transparent part of the eye behind which lies the iris and the pupil.
In Corneal ulcer this transparent part is eroded.
It may be due to exposure keratitis, fungal or herpes viral infection.
It should be treated only under ophthalmologic supervision because it may threaten the vision.
