Brief Answer:
I premix over regular

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear. Thanks for writing on HCM.

I were to prefer premix (50/50 or 30/70) over analogues as first choice since it is long acting and convenient dosage(twice daily).Advantage of premix is convenience(twice daily) over regular(thrice daily).Initially I start with premix 30/70 monitor blood sugars and then if the fasting sugars are high then would switch on 50/50.

However long acting analogues(glargine/detemir) are used but not recommended.

Hope this answers your query.
