Brief Answer:
could be due to several factors

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX,
Thanks for posting your query,

Prominent broncho-vascular marking could be due to several factors, for which I could be able to assist further if you could provide me with a few related details:

- do you have any associated features like chronic cough, increased sputum production, breathlessness, chest pain?
- do you have a past history of tuberculosis?
- history of constant exposure to allergens?

If you seem to have the above symptoms, I would suggest you to do further investigations to check the lung capacity.

Kindly revert back with the above details so that I may guide you further.
Regards

Brief Answer:
I would suggest you to do a sputum AFB

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX,
Thanks for the follow up query,
Sorry for the delay in replying you,

I have gone through your concerns and have also viewed the attached reports.
It could be better if you would have posted a picture of your chest X- ray too.

But from the description you have provided I would conclude with the following two possibilities:
- chronic smoking causes prominent broncho-vascular markings
- it could also be due to any underlying chest infections

The yellowish red color in the sputum is caused by minor alveolar bleed due to bronchiolar dilatation ie., due to reasons like smoking, changes happen progressively to the underlying lung parenchyma, its alveoli and bronchi; thereby making this changes visible in chest Xrays. It can be also seen in infections like tuberculosis.

Therefore, I would suggest you to do a sputum AFB, which is required to look for TB. If it comes out negative, then you need not worry on anything rather quit smoking entirely so as to avoid any further damage to the lungs.

Rest all your reports seem to be fine except for minor changes in serum cholesterol and blood report. The minimal high count in leucocytes and lymphocytes are due to the underlying lung changes, which is nothing to get worried about.

Hope I have answered to your query,
Please feel free to discuss further or else kindly close and rate.
Wishing you good health,
Regards
