Brief Answer:
It can be due to infection or glomerulonephritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to the HCM

The most likely reason for such findings is an episode of urinary tract infection or glomerulonephritis.

We recommend BP monitoring to rule out renal hypertension, ultrasound abdomen to check for kidney morphology, serum creatinine and BUN, S. electrolytes (Na, K, Ca) and urine culture and sensitivity test. Start him on antibiotics such as cefaclor or cefixime for next 10 days. Repeat the urine routine examination thereafter with an early morning sample.

You may upload the reports for my reference so that I may advice you in the best interest of the child.

Hopefully it will be of help.
Take care
