Question: Chest x-Ray showed
Prominent interstitial markings but no air space consolidation or congestion.
No pleural effusion or pneumothorax .
No definite acute cardiopulmonary process.
What does this mean

Looks like some form of chronic obstructive airway disease

Thanks for the query.
At the outset it looks like some bronchitis or some pulmonary congestion. If you are smoker or symptoms such as chest tightness or shortness of breath you need further evaluation.
Which should include pulmonary function tests, Ecg and echo.
You should post a question to Pulmonologist or Chest physician instead.
