Question: I had an MRI and the report states I have a nondisplaced fracture of the lateral aspect of the proximal tibia which does not appear to to be intra-articular. What is treatment? I have been walking on it and get along OK.

Brief Answer:
Will heal with rest.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Since it is a non displaced fracture and is not intra articular, you can use a knee brace to give rest to the knee joint. Avoid any strenuous exercises and avoid climbing stairs, cycling, etc.
Proper rest will allow it to heal on its own in next few weeks.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
