Brief Answer:
You need to get tested by PCR test.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

A positive HBSAG indicates you are infected with Hepatitis B Virus . But this test is not 100% confirmatory.

For confirmation you need to get a test called HBV DNA Qualitative PCR. Kindly get this test done and revert back . If this test is also positive then you need to get Serum Alkaline Phosphatase level and Serum HBV DNA quantitative. PCR .

Based on these reports it will be decided whether you need to be started on treatment or just wait and observe.

Till then avoid unprotected sex with your spouse ( if married ) , if you had any unprotected sex with any ask that person to get tested for Hepatitis B.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarification feel free to ask.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
You are carrier.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for the information.

Your reports are suggestive of Chronic Hepatitis B but one test HBV DNA being normal indicates you don't have active multiplication of Virus.

Hence there is no need for medication as of now but you need to practice safe sex with your future wife and also she should get vaccinated for Hepatitis B.

However you need to repeat HBV DNA levels test every 6 months.

Regards.
